Alissa White-Gluz
Alissa is the former lead singer in the metalcore Canadian group The Agonist. She currently sings for the Swedish melodic-death metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz was born July 31 of 1985. She is a Canadian musician who is most well-known as the lead vocalist of Arch Enemy. Swedish popular metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa also served as a founding member and lead vocalist for the Canadian Metalcore band The Agonist. Both growling vocals and singing (clean vocals) are a part of her style of singing. She's mostly associated with the genres of metalcore and melodic Death, however she has performed with Nightwish, Tarja Turunen, Delain as well as Powerwolf. Agonist (2004-2014) Agonist (2004-2014) In 2004 White-Gluz was a member of the Agonist (then called "Tempest") along with other band members Danny Marino and Chris Kells from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. White-Gluz recorded three albums for the band as their vocalist. White Gluz quit the Agonist following an offer the opportunity to sing for Arch Enemy in 2014.
