Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actress, playback performer and a musician who works most often in Tamil as well as Malayalam film languages. Annayum, Rasoolum marked her Malayalam as well as Tamil debut. Her debut was in Tamil with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah has been identified as an Anglo-Indian born at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as an attorney in the Madras High Court. There is a younger sister who lives and works at Leuven Belgium as a research assistant. Jeremiah grew up in the vicinity of Chennai she attended National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight-year-old classical musician who was an avid geek. At age 10 she was in a group of the Jackson Five called Young Stars which formed the base of her early performing and music composition career. While at college she also was an actor and appeared in stage productions organized through The Madras Players. She served as President of the Women's College's Student Senate. Andrea began her professional acting career with Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. She was a part-time actress in a leo commercial alongside actor Shiva. She also appeared in a show that was broadcast on Podhigai. The actress has performed across India. She had a small role in the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). She sang for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. The director asked her to join his female leads in Pachaikili Muthucharam. The film was an adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed with Andrea portraying Kalyani a homemaker whose husband engages in a sexual affair and gets targeted by a blackmailer. Andrea was picked to play the role after Simran and Tabu both actresses were contacted by the producers. The movie was announced in the early part of 2010. The film was released in early 2010. take on a small part in the multi-starrer film of Venkatprabhu Mankatha, which came out in August 2011. Annayum Rasoolum was Rajeev's romantic film from 2013.
